Way up there, high on my wish list, ever since I've considered myself a professional designer, has been to illustrate a book. So, when I got the call inviting me to, not only, do just that, but to illustrate a cookery book for the BBC, it was a dream come true.

The project was for the recipe book that goes along with the brand new cookery show, called The Big Family Cooking Showdown presented by Zoë Ball and Nadiya Hussain in which families compete against each other and are judged by Rosemary Shrager and Giorgio Locatelli. I was asked to illustrate the seven chapter openings with smaller illustrations within those chapters. A few months later, when I spotted the finished book in Waterstones, I was delighted to see how it has turned out. The book is full of beautiful photographs and my illustrations, it has been a dream job for me. I hope you like it too!
